Hello out there!
I performed a on-the-fly graphics conversion in LaTex, I wrote
...
\DeclareGraphicsRule{.jpeg}{eps}{}{Âjpeg2ps #1}
...
\IncludeGraphics{bb=0 0 72 72}{test.jpeg}
...
LaTeX did not complain BUT when I do
dvips test.dvi
it writes
dvips: Secure mode is 1 so execute <jpeg2ps test.jpeg> will not run
I did not turn on the secure mode of dvips.
In the mail archives I found nothing that helped. Is it a bug?

a recent X11 distribution (X.org 6.7.0) also from source.
