Dear LaTeX experts, i use Maple 9.03 + the tetex-2.0.2-13 rpms on a Fedora Core 2 linux box. If my memory doesn`t fail, earlier Maple versions exported "matrices as real matrices", ie, there was some array{...} construction within the generated maplelatex environment similar to the result of the explicit latex{%} command seen below. Or did I overlook something? Regards, J. Viragh Exporting a simple worksheet as LaTeX gives this file: ============ %% Created by Maple 9.00, Linux %% Source Worksheet: /home/viragh/NumCourse/Feladatok/test.mw %% Generated: Sun Nov 14 09:32:21 CET 2004 \documentclass{article} \usepackage{maple2e} \def\emptyline{\vspace{12pt}} \DefineParaStyle{maplegroup} \DefineParaStyle{Author} \DefineParaStyle{subtitle} \DefineParaStyle{Bullet Item} \DefineParaStyle{Dash Item} \DefineParaStyle{Diagnostic} \DefineParaStyle{Error} \DefineParaStyle{Heading 1} \DefineParaStyle{Heading 2} \DefineParaStyle{Heading 3} \DefineParaStyle{Heading 4} \DefineParaStyle{Normal} \DefineParaStyle{Text Output} \DefineParaStyle{Title} \DefineParaStyle{Warning} \DefineCharStyle{2D Math} \DefineCharStyle{Help Heading} \DefineCharStyle{Maple Input} \DefineCharStyle{FixedWidth} \DefineCharStyle{endFixedWidth} \begin{document} \pagestyle{empty} \begin{mapleinput} \mapleinline{active}{1d}{Matrix(2,[[1,0],[0,1]]);}{} \end{mapleinput} \mapleresult \begin{maplelatex} \mapleinline{inert}{2d}{Matrix([[1, 0], [0, 1]])}{% \[ {\it Matrix} \left( [[1,0],[0,1]] \right) \] } \end{maplelatex} \begin{mapleinput} \mapleinline{active}{1d}{latex(%);}{} \end{mapleinput} \mapleresult \begin{maplettyout} \left[ \begin {array}{cc} 1&0\\\noalign{\medskip}0&1\end {array} \right] \end{maplettyout} \begin{mapleinput} \mapleinline{active}{1d}{}{} \end{mapleinput}\end{document} %% End of Maple 9.00 Output ========
