This is almost certain true but now I'm not anymore able to compile a final
version of an accepted article by Non linear Process in Geophysics

http://www.copernicus.org/EGU/npg/guidelines_for_manuscript_and_article.html

the problem is most certainly in the class file they provide

http://www.copernicus.org/guidelines/egu.cls

with this class using tetex -3.0 by default output is in pdf and I get the
errors,

! LaTeX Error: Unknown graphics extension: .eps.

if i put after document class

\pdfoutput 0

I get the error

(/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf-dist/tex/latex/psnfss/ot1phv.fd)
pdfTeX error (ext1): \pdfliteral used while \pdfoutput is not set.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ->\pdfliteral

If no-one knows a quick answer to this problem I'll have to downgrade because
I need to send the final version to the Editor.

My best regrads,

                     António Tomé
