Thomas figured this one out for me. It turns out that the stock NetBSD
compiler doesn't define the global symbol `unix'. I added `#define unix'
to the top of texk/kpathsea/cnf.c and rebuilt, and everything is working
fine. Now, what harebrained NetBSD developer decided to remove that symbol
from the compiler, I wonder....
