I'd like to help type up some music, but I'm not sure what counts as out of copyright. I'm interested in typing up medieval carols and I've been looking for books from the library, but do I need to get closer to the original sources? If I transcribed things from the Oxford book of carols would I get in trouble? The Faber book of Carols mentions getting permissions for every little thing, melodies, lyrics, much from the Oxford University Press.
Otherwise, I'm open to suggestions on what I can type up.
