Hi! I am new here, french church musician working in Germany. My engraver-story: Beginn with HB-Engraver (with Apple-Mac, Hate it and Loved it) and still working with, but cant print anymore except in a copy-shop. Working also with Finale: No no no no! Heared about MusixTex (about Christoph Biebricher) and want to work with, and also learn what makes life easier (programming;-).
I have to work with a PC, so my - Question 1 is: What editor works certainly with Windows ME? I tried TexnicCenter (doesnt accept MusixTex), THE (ever makes error), WinTex 2000 (seems ok but dont know how to install MusTeX), Ultraedit-32 (seems ok but dont know how to install MusTeX), still without success. And how install MusixTex on it and install preprocessors? Thanks in advance!
