There should be a compiler switch which enables 32-bit integers for
everything. Send me - off-list -- a copy of your compile command and its
output, and I'll see what I can do to help.

I'm trying MPW, but I'm getting errors about dimensions not fitting into 16
bits. I'll keep working on it, though it sounds like a serious problem.
One line bits of music (gregorian chant) work fine!
