The latest version of the multi-platform TeXLive distribution is now
available:

"Multi-platform" here means Windows, Macs, and a wide variety of

TeXLive 2012 includes the latest MusiXTeX, the PMX and M-Tx
pre-processors and various add-ons: figbas, musixlyr, musixdbr,
musixcrd, ... 

Wrapper scripts musixtex, pmx2pdf, and m-tx automate the multiple passes
necessary to produce PDFs from the various source formats.

Linux distributions (Debian, Fedora) should have packages based
on TeXLive 2012 soon.
