First, let me say I think it's really cool that we can communicate this way, by
sending input files, and then having the recipient be able to process them with
no problems, or at least with the same problems encountered by the sender.

As to this example, I did get the first file to work perfectly, while the 2nd
choked in PMX. In the first, M-tx had automagically inserted meter changes to
7/8 at the start of both endings. While the 2nd one is not necessary, it didn't
cause any trouble. In the 2/4 version, M-tx inserted meter changes to 3/8 after
the first 4 eighths of each ending. But it did not inset the necessary meter
change back to 2/4 at the start of the 2nd ending. So PMX stopped at the "/"
that M-tx inserted after the first 4 eighths of the 2nd ending, because it
though it was still in 3/8. Evidently M-tx put the "/" in the right place, but
neglected to signal the meter change to 2/4 four eighths earlier.

In the absence of the necessary meter changes, sorry but PMX doesn't seem to be
as smart as M-tx. It has to be told about them explicitly.
