[Tex-music] Trouble with PATH wth my new Windows 10 computer

I just installed the Miktex distribution. When I type PATH from the 
command prompt I see C:\Program Files\MiKTeX\miktex\bin\x64\. This 
directory contains dvips.exe. But when I type dvips something.dvi the 
system says: The system cannot find the path specified.

Is it a bug of the Miktex ditribution?
