--- Begin Message --- For a collective noun, I've always preferred a column of cavers. Cavers usually march through a cave in single file, and column is also a type of speleothem. A "muck of cavers" doesn't usually fit cavers in a dry western cave.

Only thing about salamanders is that they are loners and don't swarm.
