Linda, Please communicate with the SWR leadership that there are likely some NSS funds available to help in the purchase of lands that could be used by cavers. It would probably help if there were caves (or even a cave) on the property, but if this land would facilitate access by cavers (and especially NSS members) to caves I think it would be taken seriously. The standard amount awarded in the past year for cave purchases has been $5000, how much might be allotted for non-cave bearing property adjoining a public cave is probably open to conjecture.
