Not a hoax, Rod? Not so sure, having been successfully hoaxed by Rod upon at
least a couple of occasions in the distant past.
BTW, any word of my demise is premature. Not so, unfortunately for my Miata, as
Rod would know if only he was on Facebook.

Hey, that was a long time ago, Roger. The UFO sightings were more recent (2003). They looked just like some of the UFO sighting I've heard callers describe on late night radio, there were more than one of them, they turned out to be real, and there's even reason to think they could have been cave related! You don't think I'd hoax you about something like that now, do you?
What happened to your Miata? I might be curious, but not curious enough to join Facebook.

Ok Rod...now I wish for more info on on your "truthful" cave related UFO
sighting. And I love tales of Chupacabra, Andy. I was on FB tonight Roger and
I didn't see anything about your demise or the Miata's; do tell. Oh and Chris,
maybe we will take this OT for your sake. It's my bedtime, I hope to read
enlightening stories tomorrow. :)

Rod,
I will post the two items again for those who didn't see the pictures. Hoax or
not, the subjects are somewhat amazing, especially the gator. If anyone has any
FACTS on it I would enjoy reading them.

So we're all getting old and forgetful and thick skinned, but we still can
enjoy a good hoax now and then. I'm curious now. What is this hoax about
Eastern diamondbacks and "nonrattling/pigs" hiding in culverts from tornados?
Who knows, some readers might even want to add their own embellishments before
forwarding it along to everyone they know on the Internet. ;-)

I guess Fritz is just like the rest of us and doesn't always get everything
sent as intended. I do it all the time myself!

I guess Fritz is too dumb or to old and forgetful to properly send intended
posts. I could re-send this stuff if anyone cares.
Fritz

I didn't get the post either, so I was as baffled as Rod.

Rod,
I am pretty sure I posted this "human interest" snake and alligator stuff on
both CaveTex and OT as well as to Andy. However, I did not regard Andy's
replies as criticism but did wonder why they seemed to be in duplicate.
Probably a computer glitch or he's getting old and forgetful. :) Andy and I are
friends and he was just educating me on some of the bogus stuff that is sent me
and I appreciate it. When I do get occasional self induced criticism, I usually
have pretty thick skin. Until banned from the site, I will keep on keeping on.
Fritz

Andy,
What is going on here, and why have you been sending these strange messages to
Texascavers? This afternoon subscribers to Texascavers received 2 copies of
your "Damn, Fritz! More bs ..." message below, one sent at 12:49 PM and the
other at 12:51 PM, plus another message with subject "[Texascavers] Fw: FW:
Texas snake" sent at 12:49 PM. All 3 of your postings to Texascavers apparently
criticized Fritz for falling for some alleged hoax, but we never received
anything from Fritz containing this hoax. Why are you using Texascavers to
criticized Fritz about an alleged hoax, when no such hoax was posted to
Texascavers in the first place, either by Fritz or by anyone else that I have
found?
Rod

Damn, Fritz! More bs ophidiophobic (or crocodiliophobic) hoaxes. Neither image
is from Texas either. Slap the person who sent you these, please!
Andy

Andy G. did mention one word you do not often see on this list: ophidiophobia. I had to look it up: "abnormal fear of snakes". Indiana
Jones had ophidiophobia. Not to be confused with aphidiophobia.

I deal with it almost every day. For those of you interested in snake hoaxes
check out livingalongsidewildlife.com
I can't post my chupacabra story here since the pics are critical to the tale.
Yes, pics......
