HI Everyone! I am so bummed I missed the TSA meeting - especially since I was on the agenda to present the new fundraising sub-committee!
I am a professional grant specialist, focusing on federal, state and local grants, plus foundations and corporate sponsorships. I am interested in helping the caving non-profit community with fundraising for all kinds of projects, including, but not limited to: library and archiving resources land acquisition research equipment (for land management, etc) education/public outreach special events suggestions? Right now, I am a committee of one, and welcome anyone who wants to help. I will be busy looking for grants that meet the above criteria, and will add any others y'all throw at me that are eligible. As we look for corporate sponsors and foundations, I will reach out for assistance. As you know, this is a slow process, but very rewarding when successful. To be eligible for funding, the non-profit will need to be a 501(c)(3) organization, such as the TSA, TCMA, etc. In addition to acquiring the grants, I will work with non-profits on filing reports and handle the management of any grants we receive to ensure we are meeting all funding criteria and reporting requirements. I look forward to working with y'all to raise funds and awareness for Texas caves! julia germany -----Original Message----- From: Denise P <pepabe...@hotmail.com> To: TexasCavers <texascavers@texascavers.com> Sent: Mon, Oct 31, 2011 7:43 am Subject: [Texascavers] TSA Meeting Minutes Hello-The TSA Fall Meeting minutes are available for your enjoyment.
