Thanks Gary. Nice little animation of how the aquifer works in the second slide. Unfortunately when I tried to watch the last slide, a video of the sinkhole in flood, all I got was another copy of the second slide, but rotated sideways. :-(

Here is the link to a nice article that appeared in the San Antonio Express News today (Tuesday, June 11, 2013). This was a trip to Seco Creek (Valdina Farm) Sinkhole in Medina County. The reporter (Colin McDonald) did a very nice job on discussing some aquifer issues and reporting on the cave. David Ochel was in a picture in the front page above the fold. He also had a nice quote. Gary Franklin also got a nice picture in the paper on page 7. I think the paper had about 12 photos on their web site. Here is a list of everyone that participated. Many many thanks to everyone that worked hard on this project.
