A California caver--Marcia Rasmussen NSS 47836 of the San Joaquin
Grotto--nearly died this past week in Sequoia National Park when she plunged
through a snow bridge and was swept under the snow pack in a torrent of ice
water.
A normal person would likely have perished but Marcia's experience, fitness
and clear thinking...and some luck...saved her life.
