Bill, Nice job and very generous offer.
I wanted to add a couple of things, Ron Ralph gave a very nice speech on joining the NSS and supporting organized caving at the Bexar Grotto last nigh. While I know that times are tough, we do need to increase NSS membership and NSS exposure to the public as the NSS took a huge hit on budget last year and is expected to do the same this year. Folks, please encourage your members to join and support the NSS. I will match Bill's offer to purchase a copy of the 50 Years of Texas Caving and donate it to the San Antonio Library. It is a fine book and also needs to get some good public exposure. Here's what I'll do to make up for eoing that. At the next DFW Grotto meeting I will make a motion that our grotto approve spending $100 for two copies of Carl Kunath's 50 YEARS OF TEXAS CAVING, one for the main Dallas library, and one for the main Fort Worth library. If approved, I will make the purchases for the grotto and be responsible to deliver the books to those libraries. At the same time, I will personally buy a copy of Carl's book and give it to my own public library here in Irving. Bill
