I know cavers who aren't mentally or physically capable of enduring the
treacherous underworld of deep cave exploration, too.

I love this part of their press blurb:

"Scientists aren't mentally or physically capable of enduring the treacherous
underworld of deep cave exploration"

Subject: [Texascavers] New Date for Deadly Descent

It now appears that the TV series Deadly Descent will now air on The Science
Channel (a division of Discovery Communications, Inc) beginning Friday December
3 (Thanks to Thomas for the info). As you can see below, it will not be
exclusively devoted to caving.

  DEADLY DESCENT (December 3)
Caves and the bottom of the ocean are the few frontiers yet to be explored by
mankind. Deep caves that twist and weave for miles below the earth's surface
hold the secrets to solving mankind's biggest mysteries and challenges and
revolutionary new cures in medicine. Scientists aren't mentally or physically
capable of enduring the treacherous underworld of deep cave exploration, which
is when this elite team of "cavers" are called upon to undertake these deadly
descents into mysterious places no other men have ever gone before.
