The answer to Gill's question, 100.48 cubic ft, was given in Wesley's message, which actually was the first message posted with an answer to Sheryl's question.
The main question remaining in my mind about this little OT exercise is whether Sheryl's pond has a uniform depth of 24" or whether 24" is the maximum depth of a pond with nonuniform depth. The calculations provided by Wes and Dave assume a uniform depth of 24 inches. Most ponds I've seen, however, have nonuniform depth and are less deep near the edges than they are in the middle. If this is the case with Sheryl's pond and if 24" is the maximum depth, then the pond volume will be less than the value calculated (approx. 750 gal.) and how much less will depend on the shape of the pond bottom. So, Sheryl, which is it? Uniform or nonuniform?
