The link below shows a photo of some Moscow cavers camped near a 1,000 meter deep cave that they pushed last week, from 980 meters deep to 1,125 meters deep before running out of rope.

The mountains are the Gagra Range in the the country of Abkhazia, which is a region claimed by the country of Georgia.
