The link below shows a photo of some Moscow cavers
camped near a 1,000 meter deep cave that
they pushed last week, from 980 meters deep to 1,125 meters deep
before running out of rope.

I think the cave is called "Moskovskaya Cave."

The mountains are the Gagra Range in the the country of Abkhazia,
which is a region claimed by the country of Georgia.

Click on satellite and look how remote the area is to the northeast.

There could be a few more deep caves up in there somewhere.
