Somebody in my neighborhood bought a 2010 4-Runner. I walked around
it and it looked
expensive. It is 1/2 inch wider and 18 inches longer than the 2009 model.

Various web-sites claim it comes in a Trail Edition, with part-time
4WD, a pre-selected set of
5 off-road settings that the driver can switch thru, and a way to
disconnect the sway bars to
make the suspension more flexible, along with other bells and
whistles, like voice-activated
navigation screen, more horsepower, electronic locking differential (
center ? ), and read end is beefed up, and a crawl setting, so you can
focus on the steering and not the gas pedal.

Supposedly, the new engine has modern features like 24 valve with
variable-valve-timing.
It claims to have electronic settings for climbing up-hill and going
down-hill while off-road.
It also maybe available with optional keyless entry, and push-button start.
