Here is some more on Tianxing in China. Its old news for those of you at
the NSS convention in Florida. Its still a fine hole, with more to come.
Hong Meigui group continues to explore some of the greatest caves in the world.
The Brit news articles (cropping up in British papers this week) get low marks
for fact checking. Check out the Hong Meigui web site:

Despite reports to the contrary, the system is still 1020m deep (deepest in
China, but certainly not the deepest in the world), Miao Keng's surveyed
vertical extent is 500m, and the "British" team has included cavers from about
a dozen countries over the years.

We're planning to continue exploration in Tianxing in September/October 2009.
