Sorry to burst your bubble, David, but this has been going on for years. Take a
look at the list of areas the government considers medically underserved. We've
had this problem out West for a long time. The sparsely populated counties
can't even bribe newly graduated doctors to serve their areas. For a long time
now, some counties have tried to bribe them with a full-boat ride to medical
school, a place to live and a clinic. All they have to do is show up. Still
doesn't work in some areas. Think back to the old tv show "Northern Exposure.">
