One more point. Albeit caving related only through inclusion in 50 years ---.

Ah!! "Smear"!!!

For such a precision gunsmith to fail to recognize the technical details!!
Loren was quick to point out that latex paint is thyxotropic. That means that
when pressure is applied, the fluid (latex paint in this case) becomes less
viscous and more fluid. That is the magic that allows latex paint to be
applied using a roller. (ref: http://ci.nii.ac.jp/naid/110002988809/)

In the case under discussion, the variations in the human skin organ create
delicate and exquisite variations in pressure translated into artistic
visualization when the skin organ is used as a painting implement. This
becomes very apparent when body painting is applied to a firm, uniform surface,
such as the side panel of TR's camper.

Unfortunately, the family sensibilities of the NSS attendees in Springfield in
1968 required that TinkerBelle wear abbreviated items of cloth, which
significantly detracted from the effect of the body painting. Loren was able
to demonstrate, in more private location of Grode Hollow (Grode/Groad - ah
more vagaries of the spelling and folklore by Texas cavers) the more delicate
and artistic results of using unclothed female body parts.

Humph!! "Smear!" Indeed!!

For shame, for your choice of words, Carl.

"Merely" does not even warrant comment.
