If you're into nature in general, you might be intested in subscribing
to Jim Conrad's Naturalist Newsletter. He posts things from Mexico
approximately weekly. Mostly it's about flora and fauna he observes,
but it has had things of interest to cavers a couple of times. When he
was living in the Sierra Gorda, he mentioned the new road to La
Trinidad, which is how cavers found out that access to Hoya de la Luz
and vicinity in the Xilitla Highlands is now easier. Then he spent
some time in Yerba Buena in the highlands of Chiapas, in the area
where much caving was done some years ago, before rebels occupied much
of the forest. Now he is somewhere in the lowlands of Chiapas, not
cavey, but still lots of natural history and local color. Subscribe at http://www.backyardnature.net/news/natnat.php
