Curious question:
What are the economics of mining landfills for raw materials? I am
sure landfills have ore grade concentrations of anything man needs
to make his tools.
Madagascar is a good snapshot of a potential post apocalyptic world
and they have been mining their landfills for years, probably ever
since the french departed as a colonial force (somewhat spitefully
destroying all the infrastructure they could on their way out)
