Well, I did go to OTR and it was one of the best ever! The weather was perfect - sunny every day in the 80's and cool each night - down into the 50's. Attendance was down and so was all the drama. It was a good year to go. The parties were contained well, with no one (to my knowledge) getting thrown out and only a couple people went to the hospital pre-OTR. There were a couple of accidents in Sharps - but I don't have the detail on their updated conditions. For anyone who hasn't gone to an OTR - it's not for everyone. For those of us who try to go every year, it's like attending a family reunion ( many of the people that you see there - you don't see at conventions or anywhere else for that matter when you live all the way down here in Texas.) This year's OTR was kick butt mostly in part to all the great caver volunteers!!! Yeah OTR Staff!!! Cat
