For the list/forum combination check this out http://www.programurl.com/echoforum-phpbb-laci.htm I haven't used it but it looks interesting.
As far as developing a section for diving on texacaving.com I'm not much of a developer, I purchased the software that is running the txcavers.com board, my skills are in building networks and high end server environments, however I could refit my page to target technical diving (split from local diving boards, I requested a special forum on the site but was denied, hence a large motivator to start one) as I'm getting contacted on not just cave related activates but also deep technical diving in the TX area, then I could push all cave related traffic to the texascaving.com board, in return I could do some posting on the texascaving.com board regarding diving to try to bridge the two areas, generate traffic, and possibly raise interest or be of some resource to people with interests in the cave diving/technical diving area, or "spring diving" as RD calls it. Anyway I'll get more on making changes after work this evening, I'd be willing to also park txcaves.com and txcavers.com on your site if you wanted them after I refit the site. -----Original Message----- From: Charles 'wokka' Goldsmith [mailto:wo...@justfamily.org] Sent: Thursday, January 25, 2007 11:49 PM To: Rick Subject: Re: [Texascavers] RE: [Cowtown] Site available for use Rick, perhaps you could join forces with texascaving.com, develop a diving section there, I know there are lots of cavers in the area that are also divers. You have a plethora of information on your site, and I'm sure they would welcome the addition of more information.
