Mark, I'll throw my $0.02 out, not making the TC available online in today's burst of the information age is a Bad Idea. Foremost, it would save money in mailing out copies. If someone wants a hard copy, they should have to pay for the printing and the shipping, but that's my opinion. A lot of grottos are doing the same thing.
I personally prefer to read a full featured, all-color PDF. Hopefully the NSS will offer this as well in the future. Many of their pictures are still in B&W and it would be nice to have them all color. Charles On 4/17/07, mark.al...@l-3com.com <mark.al...@l-3com.com> wrote:
Aimee, could you please contact me offline? The email address I have for you is old and bouncing. Also, the idea was trumpeted for the umpteenth time to make the TC available in a Members Only area on the TSA webpage, but was subsequently shot down. In that vein, Butch made the suggestion that we attempt to archive as many *TEXAS CAVERS *as possible in electronic format. So, if you were ever a past editor of the TC, could you please either contact me and/or send the issues that you worked on to me in pdf format for archiving for posterity's sake? If you don't have them in pdf format, that's OK, as I have a pdf converter I can try on your files. Thanks, Mark
