Yea, I was just watching KSAT (ABC) and saw Linda leading a news man through Robber Baron. You go girl! Oh, and he mentioned thanking Joe for helping set it up too, so I'm guessing it was Ranzau.... you go girl! ;-) AM

The range of location accuracy ranges from a few meters to a few thousand meters. About a third of the caves do not have any location information. Some of this missing information is contained in the paper files and needs to be entered into the database. There are also probably hundreds of caves in the paper files that need to be entered into the digital database. All of this work happens by cavers around the state volunteering their time to key in data, scan maps, draft maps, and write reports. The new on-line data report form makes it incredibly easy for any caver with Internet access to submit information to TSS, which benefits all cavers. TSS welcomes help from anyone who wants to improve the quality and quantity of the files. TSS makes the data available to support exploration, research, conservation, and education. To request data from the TSS, visit our website and look under the "request data" tab for details at: www.txspeleologicalsurvey.org George ------------------------ Subject: Re: CaveTex: Gerogetown Caving Resent-Date: Thu, 14 Jul 2005 15:07:37 -0500 Resent-From: cave...@www.cavetex.net Resent-CC: recipient list not shown: ; List-Post: texascavers@texascavers.com Date: Thu, 14 Jul 2005 15:19:52 -0500 From: Scott <back2scool...@hotmail.com> To: 'Cave Tex Remailer' <cave...@cavetex.net> Yeah....thats nice if you want to spend the day picking through filling cabinets stuffed with maps and papers. Unless its changed in the past year. Now if they have every known cave in the state plugged into a map of Texas yeah that might be useful. ----- Original Message ----- From: Joe Ranzau To: 'Scott' Cc: 'Cave Tex Remailer' Sent: Wednesday, July 13, 2005 10:37 PM Subject: RE: CaveTex: Gerogetown Caving Umm, ever heard of the TSS? -----Original Message----- From: owner-cave...@cavetex.net [mailto:owner-cave...@cavetex.net] On Behalf Of Scott Sent: Wednesday, July 13, 2005 3:39 PM To: cave...@cavetex.net Subject: CaveTex: Gerogetown Caving Who is all knowledgable of the caves in the Georgetown area.
