This article is for anyone considering going to the next 
NSS Convention.

There is a very scenic drive thru the Cascade Mountains that
is about about 2 hours from the convention.

One scenic spot that can be driven to, is called "Artist Point."

It looks like from Artist Point there is a small peak called Tabletop Mountain
that can be hiked up relatively easy.     Supposedly it is a 1 1/2 mile hike
with 500 foot elevation gain, which doesn't really count as climbing
a mountain, right?

Another hike in the park that seems to have good reviews is called
"Granite Mountain."
