Boy, those German scientists are really stretching. But there must have been more to it than in the press release, or the journal would never have accepted the paper (one hopes). To blame that species of insect-eating bats just because some were living near an index case, when nobody, including the authors, has succeeded in finding any trace of the ebola virus in that species in the wild.... (Fruit bats are another matter.) -- Mixon
