Terry,

The NSS web page lists the UT Grotto as the Underground Texas Grotto so I 
suspect they are chartered with the NSS as such. I think I've even been to some 
of their meetings which are on 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays of the month. When 
I attended, they meet on the University of Texas campus so that may be causing 
some of the confusion for you. Anyway, good group, you should check them out.

The "Underground Texas Grotto" aka UTG is a "fictitious entity" BUT is also 
required to keep the UT branding lynch mob away. They have little problem using 
lawyers to get anything that looks/sounds/smells like UT to get it removed....
