I've just gotten 5 messages on the Texas Cavers list about the death of Pedro,
3 of which were anonymous. Also 6 messages about the chili cook-offs in
Terlingua, 3 of which were anonymous. Looks very much like people have
forgotten that Texas Cavers list-serve no longer identifies the senders
automatically. It would be nice if people appended a signature containing both
their names (and not just first names) and their e-mail addresses; your e-mail
program will be happy to do that for you automatically, if you are
memory-challenged. It might also cut down the number of personal responses that
get sent to the whole list. -- Mixon
