Caving in Sistema Huautla Bill Steele is returning to tell us about this year's PESH 2015 Expedition. PESH is the acronym for Proyecto Espeleologicio Sistema Hiautla. Sistema Huautla is the deepest cave in the Western Hemisphere, 8th deepest cave in the world, and the longest of the world's 16 deepest caves. Most Cavers who have been to it feel it is the most magnificent cave on Earth. This year was Bill's 20th expedition to Huautla since his first one in 1977. Bill was the leader of this year's expedition. He was in Huautla, Oaxaca, Mexico for six weeks March - May. Three GHG cavers were in the expedition for one week each: Mallory Mayeux, Evan Strickland, and Chris Lafferty. http://cavingnews.com/20150506-2015-sistema-huautla-expedition-finds-new-sections Bill is already busy planning next year's PESH expedition. PESHcaving.org Mark your calendar for Tuesday Aug.18th 7:30pm (Don’t forget we have a new location!) The Edith L.
