Charles (only)-- Thanks. I now get ~2MB/sec from NSS, which is good enough. Time-Warner's (Spectrum's) own speed test gives me 70 Mb/sec download and 10 Mb/sec upload. My current Wi-Fi router is using 5G, whatever that means, but the large number of other Wi-Fi hubs in the area may be cluttering the airwaves, or anyway there are lots of places between me and the NSS that can be slowing things down. ---------------------------------------- Nature is a hanging judge. ---------------------------------------- You may "reply" to the address this message (unless it's a TexasCavers list post) came from, but for long-term use, save: Personal: bmi...@alumni.uchicago.edu AMCS: a...@mexicancaves.org or sa...@mexicancaves.org
