I’ve never caved with Don in Mexico, but he provided great help to projects at
Honey Creek, Powell’s, Sorcerers, and many others. He also came to Sonora five
times(!) to do “prison labor” hauling out tons of rock during the restoration
project there. As a personal favor, he came to Honey Creek multiple times as a
guide and watched over groups of non-cavers I took there for some karst
hydrogeology classes as we swam the through-trip. Don is great guy and a great
caver who has quietly done a huge amount for caving.

Thanks Don!

George

Subject: [Texascavers] Don Broussard

Don Broussard is ome of the most dedicated and capable cavers I've ever had the
pleasure of working with. From the time that 5 or 6 of us went to TAG in the
'60s until the recent Huautla expedition he's been way ahead of most of the
rest of us as someone to build a caving career after.
