Thanks, Katie. Bill’s such a father figure to so many of us. This morning I watched this video of Bill Stone being interviewed about the Huautla, Oaxaca caves. Stone starts right off talking about how Bill Russell figured out to go there to look for significant caves. He went, found huge entrances, and 54 years later we’re still exploring them. https://youtu.be/dZ5lT8D25hU My fingers are crossed and my thoughts are positive that he’ll be released from the hospital and able to attend our 2019 Huautla expedition send-off party on Saturday evening, March 30.
