I overlooked that Geary had already mentioned the passing of Mr. Curl, so please consider my post about that a supplememtal note.
I think I met him in Kerrville at the big ISS / NSS Convention,. and if so, he looked familiar then to me. On a different note, Boston Dynamics announced that they will have 20 real commercial robots, ( there "Spot" model ) available for purchase at the end of the month and are testing production methods to eventually sell 100 of them. It will be interesting to see if Spot can autonomously complete a tour-cave path alone.
