And yet if you look at the topo maps, last updated in 1989, of the
time of the building, it clearly shows that the area that this
subdivision is located on as a "gravel pit" with "subsidence" marks
(mine entrances often/sometimes show up like this) along where one of
the roads now is. (See attached jpg is it makes it through)
