AFAIK the C++ ABI is stable since g++-3.3 and is vendor neutral
(comercial compilers like icc uses it). So, if I am right, there is
only one ABI as g++ < 3.3 is pretty old and not even standard
compliant WRT C++ :-)
Aha. Perhaps it will deserve a deeper look
