Consider the following document:
<TeXmacs|1.0.7>
<style|generic>
<\body>
<\equation*>
<left|\||1><left|\||2><left|\||3><left|\||4><space|1em><left|(|1><left|(|2><left|(|3><left|(|4>
</equation*>
</body>
<\initial>
<\collection>
<associate|sfactor|4>
</collection>
</initial>
In my TeXmacs, the parentheses are displayed correctly. But
I see two problems with the vertical bars "|":
1. Their sizes do not match the sizes of the parentheses.
Is that intentional perhaps? To me it seems wrong.
2. The <left|\||1> somehow makes TeXmacs create a very wide
page.
The relevant code is in progs/convert/latex/tmtex.scm, but I
don't know how to fix it.
Once we are on this subject, another issue with that code is
that it does not allow entering variable-size left and right
floor or ceiling symbols.
