Dear Michael,
A few weeks ago I proposed a patch that fixes the broken R plugin (at
least on on my machine which runs linux). You can try your luck with
that if you are willing to compile texmacs yourself. See
http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?10739 and more specifically the patch
http://savannah.gnu.org/support/download.php?file_id=25589
Best,
Philippe

Hi,
I just downloaded the linux pre-complied version from the TeXmacs site:
http://www.texmacs.org/Download/ftp/tmftp/generic/TeXmacs-1.0.7.15-x11-i386-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz
And noticed that it does have the tm_r binary, which means that the R
plugin is non-functional...
Are there problems (other than the fact that the code is amazingly
ugly) with tm_r?
Thanks,
Michael
