Dear Jules,
please start by deleting the ".TeXmacs" directory (name starts with a dot) in
hour home directory. As it is a hidden directory by default, you will need to
look up online how to first make it appear in macOS.
Alternatively, you can do
    rm -rf ~/.TeXmacs
in Terminal.app.
