Should you merge? That's really just down to the judgement of you and anyone
else who wishes to contribute to the discussion on the talk pages.
How... You incorporate the content "by hand" - adding text from the source page
where it seems appropriate. If a whole page should be moved into the
destination book then you can use the Move function to do this. Once you've
finished merging the text, add {{now merged|destination page}} to the page you
took the original information from. An admin will then perform a history merge.

I have a few pages [1] where it has been proposed other pages be merged
into my book or a chapter in it. What are the steps for figuring out
whether that should be done? And if it should be done, what are the
steps for carrying it out?
