Dear All,
For history buffs AND those who know / love the city, here are almost 400
snaps of old madras...some repetition, but despite that, thought it was
absolutely and truly fascinating stuff ...one thing that these snaps
establish for sure is that we haven't in any way improved over the
aesthetics and ambiance that the British left us...even as we have managed
to destroy a good bit of it!...it is incredible to see Central Station
reflected in the then mirror like waters of the Cooum river for instance!!!
