RajaIndradyumna was directed to form an image and place in it these bones. The Kingprayed to Viswakarma to assist him in making the image. Viswakarma promised tomake the image on condition that he was not disturbed. Though the Kingconsented he tried to see Viswakarma at work after fifteen days. There was onlyone ugly image without hands or feet. The image ofJagannath has cilcular eyes, a straight head-line, a square knob on the top andblack colour. The nose is large and hooked.
