WRT Sri Jambu "invest time and energy wisely". " We live and we learn To take one step at a time There's no need to rush It's like learning to fly Or falling in love (Just falling in love) It's gonna happen when it's supposed to happen Then we find the reasons why One step at a time" This is the part of the latest western lyric hit one step at a time. The song preaches Indian Philosophy. K Sara sara what will be will be so do not rush. For some one step alone is success where for many, even after running miles, the journey destination is unseen. Doing the work alone is my right. Chandogya upanishad 8 8 1

[Prajāpati <https://www.wisdomlib.org/definition/prajapati#hinduism> said:] ‘Look at yourselves in a vessel full of water. If you have any doubts about the Self then let me know.’ They then looked at themselves in the water, and Prajāpati asked, ‘What do you see?’ They replied, ‘We see the reflection of our whole self, including even our hair and nails’. The teacher is teaching the student as to how to self realise step by step. Q Prajāpati said to them; *kim paśyathaḥ iti*, what do you see; A *bhagavaḥ*, Lord; *sarvam eva idam ātmānam paśyāvaḥ*, see the whole of our self; *pratirūpam*, a reflection; *ālomabhyaḥ*, from the hair; *ānakhebhyaḥ*, to the nails. In the Vedānta <https://www.wisdomlib.org/definition/vedanta#hinduism> philosophy there is the illustration of the pole-star. How do you show someone the pole-star? First you draw that person’s attention to a tree. Then you point to a big branch of the tree, and then to a smaller branch, and then to the pole-star beyond that. So you take the person step by step. This is what Prajāpati is trying to do. He is not trying to mislead them, but to take them from where they are, *one step at a time.* Some people have the incredible ability to set their emotions aside and make clear, calm decisions in a crisis. Instead of getting caught up in big-picture ideals or feeling overwhelmed by the scale of a situation, they manage to face the problem head on and address it practically one step at a time. For those who don’t crumble under pressure, does this practical nature make them *pragmatic*? Or are they *dogmatic* because they are logical and able to get down to business? In this case, the right word is *pragmatic*, and although these two words have similar definitions, they actually aren’t synonyms and can’t be swapped. As an adjective, *pragmatic <https://www.dictionary.com/browse/pragmatic> *means “of or relating to a practical <https://www.dictionary.com/browse/practical> point of view or practical considerations.” It also refers to the philosophical movement *pragmatism* <https://www.dictionary.com/browse/pragmatism>, which stresses practical consequences. *Pragmatic* can also mean “treating historical phenomena with special reference to their causes, antecedent conditions, and results,” as well as “relating to the affairs of the community.” *Dogmatic* <https://www.dictionary.com/browse/dogmatic> is an adjective that’s defined as “relating to or of the nature of a dogma <https://www.dictionary.com/browse/dogma> or dogmas or any strong set of principles concerning faith, morals, etc., as those laid down by a church; doctrinal.” For example, *each week her preacher delivers dogmatic sermons that incorporate relevant current events*. Someone who is *dogmatic* lives by a certain set of principles they follow. However, *dogmatic* can also have a negative connotation, as it also means “asserting opinions in a doctrinaire <https://www.dictionary.com/browse/doctrinaire> or arrogant manner; opinionated.” Therefore, this *dogmatic* person might look down on others who don’t live according to those same morals. They might be intolerant to other beliefs. B G advises Arjuna to do pragmatically, the action required at that time, step by step.
