Absolutely! Mr J writes:Can you judge who is the better person out of these
3 ?

Mr A - He had friendship with bad politicians, consults astrologers, two
wives, chain smoker, drinks eight to 10 times a day.
Mr B - He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps till noon, used opium in
college & drinks whiskey every evening.
Mr C - He is a decorated war hero, a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, doesn't
drink and never cheated on his wife.

You would say Mr.C I Hope on 1st Thought of Reaction since I too !!!

Am I Right?

But..I learned from History and from Few Others as

Mr. A was Franklin Roosevelt! ( 32nd President of the USA)
Mr. B was Winston Churchill!! (Former British Prime Minister)
*Mr C Was ADOLF HITLER!!! *

Strange but true..
Its risky to judge anyone by his habits ! Character is a complex
phenomenon. So every person in ur life is important, don't judge them,
accept them.

Three beautiful thoughts

1. None can destroy iron, but its own rust can! Likewise, none can destroy
a person, but his own mindset can.
2. Ups and downs in life are very important to keep us going, because a
straight line even in an E.C.G. means we are not alive.
3. The same Boiling Water that hardens the egg, Will Soften the Potato! It
depends upon Individual's reaction To stressful circumstances!

Enjoy the journey called Life...

KR: There is a kind of logic where the advocates , frame certain words
to justify their cases. Interrogations must not have positive assertions to
elicit answers. If that were so the logic would fail. But many would think
it is a perfect knowledge. Suppose I add the 4th one: he is lean;
vegetarian, well learnt and could have stayed in a foreign land; but did
not; he was taking goat milk. etc And he was Mahatma Gandhi. While one had
a wrong judgement based not on facts , but on drinking and wives only,
leading to the error, does not mean that logic is correct. AS A JUDGE I
OVERRULE IT. Because Mahatma Gandhi will become equal to Hitler. Thus the
evaluation method is erroneous. Pre-judgements may be bad; but
post-judgement is a must; Guna karma vibhaga as said in B G alone,
determines the evaluation. Adi Shankara was taught by Shiva. Ofcourse,
hasty generalisation could be bad; but perfect study is absolutely needed.
In these lists given above, if marks were to be given, Roosevelt and
Churchill are good to their nations only and bad before other nations who
were exploited by war. Hitler had he won would have become a hero.
Churchill would have lost, had the US army not joined. So many ifs and
buts. So success is not the yardstick for determining the Sattva Guna. It
is the oxidation that rusts the iron; in another place, the oxidation
brightens the stone. Both are inevitable. ECG straight line may not mean
death, may be a halt of breathing, which by first aid can be revived also.
Hardening and softening are carried out by the molecules and not by Hard
Water, where it is a non-participating karmic agent only. We always
attribute that Arjuna won the war; the gate does not close; the shirt has
become small. Thank you KR IRS 16623
