CULTURAL QA08-2023-24
Q1 Canyou tell a story that will change the way you look at life?
A1 Kaushal, Aug 15
Seeing the fisherman, the richman was thinking in his mind.
The fisherman was smoking acigarette lying on the bank of the river. 'Why
aren't you going fishing?' The rich man asked.
'Cause I've caught enough fish for the day,
'Why don't you grab somethingelse?'
'What shall I do with them?'
'You can make more money. You canthen attach a motor to your boat to go into
deeper waters and catch more fish. Then you will have enough money to buy nylon
netting. This will get you morefish and more money. Soon you'll have enough
money to own two boats, maybe evena fleet of boats. Thenyou too will become a
rich man like me.'
'What do I do then?'
'Then you can sit back and enjoylife.'
'What do you think I'm doing now?'
My note- Beautiful story with a message.

Money matters a lot. Without money, youare nothing. You are nothing in people's
eye.
We want others to understand butdon't want to understand their situation.
We want someone right but don't try to be theright person.
My note- This applies to two members in the groupsas visibly seen. One is Mr A
P S Mani and second is MrRajaram.
You shouldn't expect from othersto see your side of story or view.
Expectations really hurts.Ithurts more in friendship than in love.
Nobody wants you to be successful except your parents.
Looks matter a lot.
We want change but can't be the one to change.
Not everyone is your real friend.
Some dreams are dreams forever.
Not everyone will up vote youranswers after reading it.

Here are some of the importantknowledge tips that could save your life one day:
When having a heart attack, you don't swallow asprin, you chew it. Then swallow.
If someone is stabbed or is punctured by a sharp object.Leave it in. The object
is blocking the blood from spilling out.
If you ever get shot by a small caliber weapon, one ofthe best things to use to
plug the hole and stop the bleeding is a tampon.
If you are choking or having a heart attack get out ofyour car. You can't
signal anyone if you are unconscious inside the car, but if you are draped over
the hood ofthe car you are sending a distress signal.
If you vomit and it looks like coffeegrounds, you need to get to a hospital.
You're bleeding somewhere and it'sreaching your stomach. The partially digested
blood comes up lookinglike coffee grounds.
If being attacked, never strike in the torso, this is notthe movies. Instead,
go for the groin, eyes, or ears and then run and scream asfast and loud as you
can.
If you ever almost drown to the point of throwing up wateror passing out, even
if you feel 100% fine, get to a hospital. Your lungs canunwittingly self-fill
up with fluid over the next few hours.
Flammable and inflammable mean the same thing.
If you're ever somewhere really high (e.g. hiking) and youhear
crunchy/crinkling noises in the air and/or feel static electricity (likeyour
hair standing up), get out of there immediately, lightning is on it's way.
Use this helpful rhyme if you'reever facing a bear: If it's brown, lay down. If

They rarely put Barnes and Noblesin bad areas, so if you are lost and need to
find a decent area to stop, put"Barnes and Noble" in your GPS.
Don't walk down the stairs with your hands in your pockets.
If you are stuck on a train track and have to abandonyour vehicle to an
oncoming train, run away from the track but also run towardsthe train itself.
If you run in the same direction as the train is traveling, you will be standing
where the debris of your former car lands.
If you're at the beach and the ocean suddenly recedes, get to high ground. ASAP
If stuck in a riptide, remain calm, and swim parallelto the shore. You'll still
be pulled out some, but it's better than fightingagainst the riptide, which is
inevitably stronger than you are. Once you'rebeyond the riptide, you can swim
to shore.
When drowning, use your jeans as a life preserver in waterby tying the legs
together and filling them air.
Rohypnol, the date rape drug, has a salty taste to it.
When crying for help, try and call out specific people("You with the redshirt,
help me, I'm being mugged) instead of just screaming generally("Help! I'm being
mugged").
Most important: You were born with instincts. If you feelsomething is wrong
with a person, place, situation, it probably is. Don'tdiscount those feelings
in your gut that something isn't going to work out, orthere's something
hazardous about the situation. Also, in these situations, don't be afraid of
beingrude. Just leave.
